Prayer- the Law of Attraction and Manifestation: Blog Talk Radio March 21/13
Do you want to be a prayer warrior, are you concerned that you don’t know how to pray, or would you like your prayers to be more effective? The BlogTalk radio show for March 21 focused on the Masterful Prayers book, with the topic being Prayer, the Law of Attraction and Manifestation. The Masterful Prayers book for sale on my website DouglasJamesCottrell.com, is a compiled list of suggested prayers obtained from the readings, for different common life situations. For example, there are prayers for protection of self, of friends and family, prayers for employment, prayers to attract a soulmate, prayers for lost items, and a prayer for the healing of the earth, as just a few examples.
Practical suggestions were given to many callers about how to make prayers more successful, and in general, about the nature of prayer, how prayer relates to the law of attraction, and how things can manifest through the power of prayer. The relationship between gratitude, emotion, and expectation were also discussed with different callers, as it relates to effective prayer.
All of us have times where we have lost items, are frustrated about those items being misplaced, and when we have looked for the items incessantly but unsuccessfully. Concrete examples were given of specific items returned through the prayer for lost items, how the prayer was implemented (including how to implement other prayers), and practical suggestions for following up after the fact. Other scenarios, including a job search and a soulmate search were discussed in terms of how to pray to make the items manifest. More concrete suggestions were given when a prayer is for someone else, the proper attitude and method of requesting intervention through prayer, and a suggested prayer for intervention. The power of fasting was discussed as it relates to the power of prayer and suggestions as to how to implement fasting.
The show had its share of humor. Cat lovers will love to hear of the origin of cats, a cat healing through the BlogTalk radio show, a cat-whisperer-type cat personality issue and the suggested course of action for the cat. This show’s humor did not stop with cat stories, but a story of a boy up past his bedtime and another set of children who were wearing “baggy clothes” to bed.
